Question #3:
Promise ring for my boyfriend?
We have been dating for about a year and half now and he got me a promise ring for my birthday. (5 months ago) We plan on getting married when we are both finished university and can afford to have a wedding, and the ring was to promise me that it will happen. I am so much in love with him, and in a general discussion he said he wouldn't mind wearing a promise ring of his own and would actually like it. So I was thinking of getting him one for christmas this year, I just don't really know what kind of ring to get him. I just know I want it to be a nice white gold that matches mine if they make mens rings in white gold. Any suggestions?Question #4:
How much is a 14ct mens wedding band worth?
I have a couple 14ct wedding bands that are white gold that I am looking to get rid of. They are the basic wedding bands and nothing fancy. I am not sure of the exact weight. They have engravings on the inside of the ring so I am not sure if that hurts the value. Can someone give me an estimate on what it would be worth, or a guess. I just do not want to get ripped off. ThanksQuestion #5:
How much would you say this ring is worth judging by my description and the picture?
It's a Masonic ring, mens, 18 karat gold plated with onyxas the main stone and Handset Swarovski Crystals (Austrian)

Question #7:
what is the value of a Basket ball Championship Gold ring?
I have a depression era Mens gold Ring.This ring is 14 K gold , weights 14,6 grams.
And has an inscription on the inside that reads 1929-1930 Cleveland Rosenblums, Basketball championship.
The front of the ring has a basketball and a hoop engraving.
This is the Info on the Team below
The Cleveland Rosenblums was a professional basketball team in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1920s and 30s.
The Rosenblums began as a barnstorming team and ended up that way. In between they played in the American Basketball League. The team owner, Cleveland haberdasher Max Rosenblum, was one of the organizers of the league.
The Roseblums were prominent enough in 1924 to be invited to play against the Original Celtics in a benefit game to help finance the 1924 US Summer Olympics team. On April 14, 1924 they played in the featured game of a triple-header held in New York's 13th Regiment Armory. The Celtics prevailed, 25-17, before a crowd of 3500.
Cleveland won the first ABL league championship, defeating the Brooklyn Arcadians by winning three games to zero in a best of five series in the 1926 playoff. In the league's second year of operation the Original Celtics joined the ABL, dominating it so thoroughly over the next two seasons that attendance declined, and three teams folded. The Rosenblums won the dubious honor of playing the Celtics in the 1927 championship series, losing three games to none.
The league took advantage of the embezzlement conviction of the Celtics manager to force the Celtics to disband. In 1928 the Celtics players were distributed to the remaining teams. The Cleveland Rosenblums acquired three former Celtics and won the next two championships.
Attendance at the ABL games dwindled with the onset of the Depression, however, and the Cleveland team withdrew from the league on December 8, 1930. Losses mounted and the ABL ceased to be a national circuit after the 1930-31 season. The Cleveland Rosenblums continued to barnstorm during the 1930s. To boost their popularity in this era the teams sometimes billed themselves as the "Rosenblum Celtics."

Question #8:
Guy please helpo me. I have to write an essay of Edwardian, Victorian, 20's, 30's, 50's, WWI and WWII?
I wrote this down so far, what do yout think?Th Victorian look was uncomfortable and kept people from moving, even breathing (woman more tha men, but men also) I assume that by "Silhouette" I mea whalbone corsets ad bustles and such silliness.
The main reason why these things changed was WWI. Women were nurses and had to do mens jobs at home and they couldn't do it in Victorian clothing, so they assumptions had to change. The hat and the setting (croquet game) sggest in afternoon dress, but the sleeves are too short for anything bu n evening dress. O th other hand the dess is too plain for evenin wear, and it's described as having strechy panel in a bodice, which dresses of that era simply did nohave (elastic fabrics were not in geeral use until the early 12th C.) The parasol was a popular accessory during the 19th and early 20th century, a period when sun tanned skin was highly undesirable. It functioned both as a sunshade and a fashionable accompaniment to dress, distinguishing itself from the umbrella through its infinite and luxurious forms and essentially feminine status. Like the earlier trend for fans parasols displayed an individual's style and could be used in a coquettish ritual to hide the modest bearer from unwanted glances.
This blue silk parasol from the 1860s has supportive ribs of whalebone, a lightweight alternative before the use of steel became universal. The 'L' shaped ivory handle is plain, not carved, a trend that reflects the decline of the quality of Chinese carving in the wake of the Opium wars. The handle is inscribed with the owner's name 'Mrs Musgrave' and is topped with a gold ring. The cover is held shut when not in use, by a band with a ring and mother-of-pearl button, this is positioned roughly a third of the way up the cover enabling it to be tightly wrapped. This s a afternoon dress from 1865. After the First World War fashio changed inself because there were jobs for women and they could not wea this big bustle corset dresses. The a flaper look cam in 1920's.
My question was Why do you think thses changes were so dramatic?
If you know anything can you please tell me and how to finish the end bit?
Please dont tell me read it, because Ive rea it and i need other peoples opinion. thank you so much.

Question #16:
Mens Wedding Band. Tungsten or gold, diamond band or plain band?
I am shopping for a ring for my soon to be fiance. He is a welder. I do not know if I should buy him a tungsten carbide ring or a white gold ring. I also am not too sure whether or not I should get diamonds in the band or not. I also was told to get him a gold band with diamonds for home and just a tungsten band for work. I am completely clueless as what to get. I am not too sure of his taste when it comes to this. He never wears any type of jewelry and ever makes any type of comments even when I was showing him things online. He seems to be fine with anything.Question #17:
